ADP Report: Handcuff RBs Are Eating Round 11

The waiver adds this week are a backfield story, and the market is pricing it correctly for once. MarShawn Lloyd led the entire wire with 1.31 million adds and now sits at 11.10 in ADP. Malik Davis went nearly seven figures in adds while getting dropped 108,000 times in the same window, which tells you exactly how volatile his stock is right now. The interesting question isn't who's climbing, it's whether these Round 11 lottery tickets deserve the cost.

The Lloyd bet is worth 11.10

MarShawn Lloyd going off the board at 11.10 alongside Tre Tucker and Mark Andrews is a fair price for a Packers backfield that also carries Josh Jacobs at 4.07. You're paying an eleventh-round pick for a contingency, not a starter. That's the correct frame. If you already spent early capital on Jacobs, Lloyd is the cheapest insurance in the draft.

Blake Corum at 11.03 is the comparable bet on the Rams side, going ahead of Lloyd despite Kyren Williams sitting at 3.08 as a locked-in workhorse. Corum has been drafted more than twice as often as Lloyd, which reads as the market overpaying for a handcuff behind an entrenched starter versus one behind a veteran.

Malik Davis is a churn trap

Pacheco is the fall the market got wrong

Isiah Pacheco was dropped 174,000 times this week and no longer appears in the top 140. That's an overcorrection. Detroit added him for a reason, and the Lions backfield behind Jahmyr Gibbs at 1.01 is thinner than the panic suggests. If Gibbs misses time, Pacheco is the direct beneficiary, and you're currently getting him for nothing.

Jaydon Blue leading all drops at 434,000 is the more justified exit. He's off the board entirely, and unlike Pacheco there's no clear path back to relevance in Philadelphia behind Saquon Barkley at 2.07. When the starter is a top-eight overall pick, the third-string flier is the first cut, and it should be.

Justice Hill is the sneaky riser

• ▸Cheaper than Corum and Lloyd and undrafted in most rooms
• ▸Pass-down role gives him standalone PPR value

Hill is the handcuff nobody's talking about because Henry is the draft-day headline. But Hill has a genuine third-down role, which means he holds a floor even when Henry is healthy. That's more than you can say for Davis or Blue. If you're chasing this week's backfield adds, Hill is the one with the least downside.

Draft the handcuffs with a real role and let everyone else chase the million-add mirages.

The market nailed Lloyd's price and overreacted on Pacheco. If you're picking through this week's movement, buy Hill and Pacheco as the cheap paths to volume, take Lloyd at his fair 11.10, and let Malik Davis be somebody else's Tuesday-night regret.
