ADP Report: Backfield Chaos Reshapes Rounds 8-11

The rookie WR run has been beaten to death this month, so ignore it. The real movement this week is in the backfield, where a wave of handcuffs and committee winners is climbing and a group of once-safe RB2s is quietly falling out of the draftable range entirely. If you're building your board off ADP from three weeks ago, your Round 8 through 11 running back plan is already stale.

The RB adds nobody's slowing down

Malik Davis at 225,585 adds and MarShawn Lloyd at 132,606 headline a backfield-heavy week. Davis is a Dallas add off a room that just lost clarity, and Lloyd finally has a runway in Green Bay with Josh Jacobs holding a 3.07 ADP and Aaron Jones sitting at 9.06. Kaelon Black cracking the top 15 adds in San Francisco tells you the market thinks the McCaffrey backup job is worth speculating on.

This is where it gets interesting. Alvin Kamara (86,680 drops), Isiah Pacheco (55,072), Trey Benson (74,202) and Khalil Herbert (81,756) all shed real ownership this week. Kamara in New Orleans is the one that should stop you, given Devaughn Vele and Barion Brown are both climbing in that same offense. The market is repricing the entire Saints skill group and Kamara is the loser.

Where the WR value actually sits

Xavier Hutchinson led all adds at 513,730 and Jayden Higgins led all drops at 132,888, and both are Texans. That's a straight ownership swap inside one WR room, with Higgins tumbling to an 11.09 ADP while Hutchinson soars. Tank Dell also drew 96,144 adds in the same offense. Houston's receiver depth chart is being re-drafted in real time, and the winner is whoever survives camp, not whoever the add count crowns today.

On the adds, be selective. Davis and Lloyd are cheap enough to be right, but Najee Harris and the Houston WR pile are chasing situations that haven't resolved.

The value this week isn't in the rookie WRs everyone's chasing, it's in the RB2s falling into the double-digit rounds while their roles are still being decided.

Draft the fallers whose situations are unsettled rather than the adds whose situations are unsettled, because you pay a discount for one and a premium for the other. Grab Benson late if the Love hype pushes him past Round 8. Let the free-agent tickets and the Houston jump balls go to the room that likes headlines more than roster spots.
